A Conversation for The Controversy Surrounding the Origins of the Taj Mahal

Yet another reason for Communal Fight

Hi friends, I would suggest that somethings are best unsaid, some stories are best unexplained. What Mr. Oak writes may be true or it may not be but if we research on it one thing is sure...communal hatered which may further lead to riots(like Babri Masjid). Who built it, who's the owner???????? all these are past stories. In dont say that we should not know the Truth. But a past truth that can disturb the present and the future is of no use. Even if The Taj was a Temple and Shah Jahan accuired it and converted it into a Tomb, how does it matter? After Shah Jahan accuired it, the Taj became his property just like the Peacock Throne and the Kohinoor Diamond is now the Britisher's assets. Well then we should first fight for our those assets which has been stolen or looted by the Britishers and taken to their native land to glorify their Museums. At least The Taj is in India. Shah Jahan didn’t exploit it. He only added to its glory and associated the evergreen love story with it. The Taj today stands as a dedication to the millions of lovers not only in India but throughout the world, to every Shah Jahan who doesn’t mind to spend the last penny of his pocket for his Mumtaz. It doesn’t belong to Hindu or to Muslim. It belongs to every one who loves, who cares. And people who try to find whom does it actually belong to are those people who never loved any one nor can they bear this epitome of love. We are already in a pathetic condition due to the communal riots. Kashmir belongs to us…….Babri Masjid is upon our land…etc. And now we don’t need another reason to fight among ourselves. Do We???????
