The 'moonwalk' and other steps we now identify with Michael Jackson are all there.

The wretched irony of this web driven 'age-of-information' is that it has never been so easy to render error and misperception as the new received 'fact'.

Bear with it as there is a definite snippet early then there's lots of other stuff with a couple of bits - but not so well executed as MJ - then a guy in a chef's outfit ... who is BETTER at it than MJ in my view and much much for freestyle in his application of the technique.

Without wishing to dimminish Jackson's obvious ability, he did always seem to set himself up for it and then just always do it as a straight backwards,perhaps 'classroom' version.

With the very greatest of respect, please read the article before you post any comment criticising content. It doesn't say it was invented in the 1980s, it says it became popular in the 1980s and attributes its invention to Bill Bailey many years previously.

Actually Covsuperfan, you've probably read the article since it was changed as result of the previous comments made.
