As my teacher taught me the E'-D' trill it's
E' - -23 45- -
D' - -2- 45- -
So you waggle finger 3 to get the trill. This one works quite well for a trill that needs to start on E' and finish on D', because at the end you lift up 4 and 5 as well to conclude with a proper D'.

At least, I *think* that's right... I find it a bit tricky to relate that notation to what I'm actually doing with my fingers.
