I disagree, partially. Well, that depends on the definition of re-make. But I don't want to get into an argument about that now. 
With regards to an update, what sort do you think would be good? A whole new entry, pretending the two films have nothing in common? An extra paragraph in this? Extra sentence? Removal of the arguably out-of-date paragraph? What do you reckon?
