WITH EARTH BORN MICROBES,THAT WE COULD EITHER CAUSE THE EXTINCTION OF LIFE OR MUTATIONS.MAYBE SOME DEBRIS FROM OUR CRASH LANDINGS LIKE BEAGLE 2,COULD HIT A SENSITIVE AREA WHERE A PARTICULAR SPECIES EXIST AND WIPE OUT ANY HOPE OF FINDING THEM.smiley - smiley

Actually I'm more concerned it might impede OUR further evolution.

Taking it from H.G. Wells demise of the invading Martians (only the first wave...), the day after the Martians are gone, the pandemics begin and though sinister minds mentioned in the beginning of the book chuckle.
