A Conversation for The Internally Explosive Nail

I like the concept... but question the practicality of the explodeing nail.
In my own experiance I have used, (and own),a nail gun that operates on an internal combustion engine,(Paslode), as well as a concrete nail setter powered by a 22 caliber shell,(Remington).
Perhaps some applications, that I cannot forsee, could be used with this ingenious device?
Will it speed up production, (and quality)?
Where can someone try ,(or buy),these nails to see if they work well?

The exploding nail sounds a lot safer than nailguns, too...
I wonder how strong the nail is though. I doubt it has too much of an effect, but having a hollow nail must make it weaker.
Oh, and how do they compare in cost? On my budget I'd probably forego the clever nails if they're expensive, and put up with a few swollen fingers...
