Well, once I can get it off my laptop (no net connection for it) and onto a pc with net connection (not impossible just more likely to be procrastinated over for a while) and ML'd then y'all can pick it to pieces for me

And of course anyone who'd like to volunteer to edit it up for me and put links in to other entries etc, fel free to contact me and say so!!!

I don't mind helping with that if you like - but if you'd rather someone who knows a bit more about horses I'd wait for someone else to help.

Interesting factoid of the day: in German, we call very obvious hints "der Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl", waving with a fencepost...

*prods Mala with a fencepost*
Ooh, either of you, erm, perhaps one of you could do the guide editing and the other could find and link the references?
I did do some ML once and it took me so many fits of screaming obscenities that it took me hours. And now I dont have a lot of access to the net (in my own time anyway) I cant really do it

I'll email it over to you soon Mal
Eventually, I shall get my good man to teach me properly how to do it (probably some time around the writing of articles on bits and bitting, the conformation of a horse, different horse 'types' and the breeds that exemplify them, tack for different jobs (including a section written by you on medieval saddlery Mala?), horse colours (UK and US) and perhaps something on dentistry and it's importance for the health and ability of the horse to work...)
*phew*
Guess I'd best cover TTOUCH at some point as well, though it would need counterpoint articles for other treatments, therapies and training methods. Hm, perhaps a summary-type entry covering a lot of old and new styles of training and philosophy...

You sound busy!
I might write articles on Icelandics and Arabs at some point. (Had an Arab, want an Icelandic
)

Ooh! An overview of horse types and breeds could be linked to to any and all individual breed entries! (might do a Friesian one... And a Shire, and a Clydesdale. Though the facts and figures do start to bore me eventually.)
I am busy when I'm at work, but I'm enjoying talking about horses when I'm at home.
Incidentally, I'm visiting the north west of england at the end of April... And I've been promised a pony trekking trip up there at some point in the week I'm so excited!

Oh, we do, dont we? *forgetful*
I'll cover some, the Akhal-Teke's an intereting one! (badly conformed, bad-tempered, intractable and hard to train... But they have a metallic coat and are highly prized in certain areas... )

I dont mind some wee place tucked away, dont mind finding somewhere... Usually have better horses. If you can get us a half day or a day with lunch at a pub that'd be ideal!
I'll have to get a waterproof jacket... I used to have a good one but I left it at the cinema and they couldn't find it. It was cheap from Somerfield, too!

there's a couple that do half/full days with small groups, 6/8 people max, have a look when you get home
Might be alright with waterproof jackets may have a spare one here that used to use for the bike, if not then may take you up on the offer Mal

Of course, I'd have to come over there to give it to her, and while I'm there, I might as well...
Just joking
