While you may like posting twice, the true way to not have children is to not have sex..and if you really don't want children, then that person's will power should be enough to control the urge

one thing that i have failed to see mentioned in these entries pretaining to the depo vera shot is that, despite being very effective against pregnancy, it can do some pretty unpleasant things to the girl who has taken the shot. and in some ways, those around her.
when my girlfriend took the shot for the first and last(at least to my knowledge!) time, the doctors warned her that one possible side effect of the drug would be mood swings. but she figured that almost all medicines warn about that and of all the people to take that seriously, a horny sixteen year old girl how had a bad case of love and a sense of self so senselessly strong no mere medicne could mare it is the last thing you want.
so here is basicly what the shot did to her;
first thing she was sick for a few days and there was some un expected bleeding, so from the begining she was pretty unhappy.
then after the drug had had a couple of weeks to get establish itself in her system, the real side effects started to show themselves.at first she was reall easy to piss of, to get under her skin. at first that was kind of fun but the longer it lasted the easier it got to piss her off, it got to where i didnt even have to try to get to her and maker her angry, and quite honstly, its just no fun when your not trying to do it. when that end of things plateued there was a whole other issue to worry with. a virtuallly totally eradicated sex drive. im talking nihl, which, if you ask me and i answer honestly,defeats the entire point of her being on the shot and being all bitchy in the first place.
so basiclly what i wound up with at the end of the whole depovera situation was a frigid, irritable girlfriend who just wanted to stay at home and bitch about how bad her life was, but damn was she sterile. but then maybe that makes the shot just that more effective when you think about it.
