A Conversation for 'Get Back' - The 'Lost' Beatles Album
Let It Be George

For years after the Beatles broke up I mourned the group's demise. Like everybody else I waited in anticipation for the fab four to come to their senses and regroup to fill our lifes with more magical music. When John was killed I was just as shocked by the realization that the Beatles would never be again as I was by the loss of his life. After reviewing Let It Be years latter it was painfully obvious that George was dying. Paul's genius ego was swallowing him up, like a domineering spouse sapping the identity of a more gentle soul. I understand now that it took George years to make a partial recovery from the incredible stress and pressure that he had been under. I am happy for the wonderful music that they collectively created for us but I understand now that it was a good thing for them to finally let it be.
