Interesting to see comments about Forvie Sands. We came to the h2g2 site via a google search. Living close to the Sands as we do we were interested to see what was being said. Today there was lovely -a really bleak, winter Scottish day with the North Sea crashing on the shore. If anybody out there gets a chance to visit - do so!

I wish I did have the chance to visit Forvie more often. Do you know any local history about the Sands? I've been there a number of times over the past ten years but, not being local, I only have a very general knowledge of the place.
