a tribute to Alan Moore on his 50th birthday, by more than a hundred different people.

I stumbled across the book at my local library (which wonderfully enough has an absolutely excellent comic book section) a few days ago.

Sure enough, I had noticed the name of Alan Moore before, 'it was that bloke who wrote those fascinating stories, such as Watchmen, Promethea, A Small Killing, Halo Jones, and so on. Oh, and also that "V for Vendetta", that one which i never got around to reading.'
So yes, i was aware of that there was this amazing person writing excellent comics, but i never quite thought about it. I never realized the full impact he had on the medium comics. So reading the book was quite.. Stunning, fascinating and fun. And inspirational.

In addition to that, i haven't finished reading the book yet, have around one fifth of it left, and as soon as I've finished it, i'm gonna go and read "V for Vendetta".
