The Year: In Brief
In winter time, with ice and snow,
It's best if you've no place to go.
For you must walk, not safe for cars,
But still you may slip on your... Bottom.
Then spring does come and bring the thaw.
The sun starts shining more and more.
Lambs are born, pigs play in muck,
And rabbits start, once more, to... Hop about.
It's summer, time to go away,
With brighter skies and warmer days.
But 'ware the food, don't eat a bit,
Or else you'll end up with... Diarrhoea.
Now, at last, Autumn is here,
As we approach the end of year.
As the four seasons come to wrap,
The weather turns windy, rainy, and... Not very nice.
