Sounds wonderful! Unfortunately I'm not all that familiar with Jackson, as so many states have one (a Jackson, that is). I know you aren't in MO, but where is it in relation to a larger city, like St. Louis, Kansas City, or even Springfield? Maybe me take a road trip this fall.....

Actually, the entry should read "Jackson, Mississippi". Sorry, hope that's closer to you. Jxn is in the middle of the state. About 4-6 hours south on I-55 from Memphis (depends on traffic, driving style, and whether or not the Troopers have met their quota). About 3 hours north on 55 from New Orleans. Or, if you're coming in east or west get on I-20. 6 hours west of Birmingham, AL. 8-10 hours east of Dallas. Hope this helps. 20 and 55 converge about 15 minutes south of Olde Tyme.

I was wondering about that Missouri/Mississippi thing. I hadn't heard of a Jackson, Missouri. Altho, as not to insult anyone, I'm sure there is one, it's just not as big as Mississippi's.
Maybe one of these days I'll make it down that way...
