Cannabis 1 is a mildly narcotic plant, which when smoked or eaten produces a feeling of well-being and mild euphoria. The use of cannabis is almost universally illegal in the western world, although possession of cannabis has been decriminalised in the Netherlands 2.
- Should cannabis be made legal? What are the arguments for and against?
- Should 'possession of cannabis' be decriminalised, as it is in the Netherlands?
- Should cannabis be made available for medicinal purposes only?
