i want one!

minichessemouse - Ahoy there me barnacle!

I am VERY tempted to go and investigate the fabric shop along the road and make myself a cloak over the christmas holidays. I wont get any more strange looks than when i wear my rainbow stripey trousers.

There's generally a roll or two of already colorful fleece at fabric stores... Or you can google for it--I can't give any links here, since they're commercial sites.

Oh, wait, EBay!

Luckily there is a fabric store between me and town so i can pop in and have a look on my way either on my way in or back from uni sometime soon. Just need the fabric and sewing impliments, oh and the ability to sew neatly would be good too! smiley - winkeye

Then I'll wear mine. (Wine-red and off-white herringbone-patterned wool. Or will I go for the cream one with the lavender lining and fur trim?)

ooh the red one sounds good, also if any beer gets spilt on it it wont show as muchas it would on the cream one.

Argh want to start it now, you do realise you have given me yet another way to procrastinate and put off doing any work?

I also have a royal purple cowl with a lavender lining, a long, pointed hood, a dagged edge (with a kind of leaf shape) and little brass clasps all down the front smiley - diva

Great entry - and it even makes me want to do one - but I am hopeless at sewing....

smiley - smiley If you find some heavy felt, you won't need to do any sewing at all for an unhooded one, except to add a closure!

Ah, come on, Mala, if *I* can knit, anyone can!! smiley - laugh
It's real easy, actually, once you've found someone to show you.
