Those of us who will be temporarily unable to fit into winter/rain coats, and don't want to spend a lot of money on a maternity coat, could make (or have a friend make) a cloak, which could be worn when our bodies are back to normal...ish as wellsmiley - ok

Oooh, good idea! smiley - biggrin It can also be worn later when you're carrying baby around in a front carrier of some sort, to keep both of you warm.

smiley - doh Didn't even think of that angle! Then again, PaperKid was born in the summer, so I didn't have to think of such things--challenge then was to keep her from getting too hot in the carriersmiley - laugh

*note to self--see if I still have newborn carrier*
