the way around tree sitters is easy
you take a small cutting devise and strip about 2 inches of bark off the tree all away around, you then hammer in some copper nails, then walk away for about 3 months of winter
the tree sitters have to endure a miserable winter up a tree and come the spring the tree does not spring back to life because it is dead.
if the tree sitters still refuse to leave just let mother natures recycling process get them out of the trees, they rot and fall down
cheap and easy without all the costly court injunctions and bad publicity

Not really, no
This entry was intended to be more descriptive, rather than prescriptive. Of course, that means that there's room for an entry with tips for potential tree-sitters.
