Some basic rules for surviving your driving experience on the Wellington Motorway:
1. Own a 4 wheel drive. - Not however a serious machine that can tow a boat over a mountain, but a toy one that needs therapy at the sight of a pothole.
2. Use said vehicle firstly to menace lowly sedans driving in front of you.
3. Then, and particularly late at night or early morning when there is little traffic about, select one of said lowly sedans, and even though you have 2 other empty lanes to chhose from, pull in 6 feet in front of it.
4. Proceed to drive slightly slower than the poor sap behind you was going.
5. And this is VITAL, repeat above procedure using other '4 wheel drives' as victims.
