Hee hee. I'd sure appreciate that.

I was telling a friend about how I couldn't find any good role-playing video games, and he talked me at great length about the Fallout games.
I was convinced, bought n°2 as soon as I could (well, it's kinda old now so price wasn't a major problem) and wasn't disappointed. smiley - smiley

Prophet- both Fallout 1 and 2 are excellent, and both are far less rigid in structure than FF7. Both the path you choose and the way you fight are very flexible...

I thought FF7 lacked something, that it could have better used its graphics. There were too few characters and they were generally all arrogant and young. I was shocked that there was no other world to explore like in FF5 and FF6, especially since the game was on three discs.

But hey, it's a great game and truly powerful. Whether it's an RPG or not depends on your definition. I thought the points at which you had no control were some of the best; if you just accept that you can start to appreciate the great storyline. It was part of the whole point of the game that Cloud wasn't really in control of his actions for the whole opening half. It was really disturbing to realise that you had actually been helping Sephiroth and that your reality was false, especially when you are taken from your body and shown as a weak, defenseless child.
