You said the Maltese were one of two groups to get the George Cross. What was the other? I couldn't help thinking that the World War II events were enough in themselves to make the Maltese cross - I'd have been as cross as crabs!

IIRC, the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC is the only other group to have received the George Cross, only a couple of years ago.
I've been scuba diving in Malta the last two Easters and had a great time. Perhaps a link to the scuba entry, as it contributes a large number of the tourists who go there?
