I've always thought that there should be a black dragon as well as the bronze ones! This could make life interesting!

I love dragons too, and love Anne McCaffrey's Pern series!
As for black dragons... hmm... maybe but it's a little sinister isn't it! It would seem like it was threaded... eugh! *shudder*

Another dragon nut.....YAY!

When I say a Black Dragon, I don't mean the patially carbonised black that thread can do to dragon, I mean that sort of black you see if you look at a Raven's wing after partaking of some slightly illegal sustances...All right....Quite illegal! The sort of black you can fall into forever.

Now I've got a problem......My cat has jumped onto my lap and has monopolised one hand, this makes typing fun...NOT!

Me always into cat things.. ~grin~... and dragon things... me grew up believing in dragons... and me so wanted to live on Pern... and have a dragon all of my own... me was a little upset when me realised being a girlie type cat ... that me could only have a gold or a green... hmmm... and me so wanted a brown dragon like Canth... the biggest and bestest brown dragon on Pern...

Incidently... this article should be up dated soon... as it was moderated when the beeb first took over and a whole section was removed... spouting copyright and such... Me had written to Ms McCaffrey and asked her permission to use a short extract form one of her books... and asked which she would choose... She choose the 'Impression of Lessa'... which me incorperated into the article and it was then removed... After approaching Ms McCaffrey again.. she once more has given permission... (she was not to pleased with the removal)... and after consulting with the Towers, the section should be re-added soon... ~paws crossed~

The dragon was drawn by someone in the h2g2 graphics team... and you can find a copy of it to use on your own site at the h2g2 graphics library...

Don't get me wrong... a golden queen dragon would be wonderful... tis just me fell in love with Canth... and the story of F'Nor and Brekke... is really sad and touching...

i love dragons i have a window sill full of them and attempting to make a nodding one for my car.
