My Intro
All Hail and Welcome! Merry Meet! This is the front space of one who is known as "Heliophile"!
Welcome one and all!
As life goes on, this will, no doubt, be altered, mucked about with, and otherwise changed. For good or ill? Who knows!
To give a brief (very!) resume of your host, I will endevour to write (...type?...) something about me.
I love Sci-Fi of most types, and have just finished the trilogy by Michael Scott Rohan that started with "Chase The Morning". Read it! Real Ale is one of my many weaknesses, along with single malt Scotch and the good old G&T. Musically I love just about anything that is played by real musicians! Trad Folk being my favorite, and no, it's not all finger in the ear dirges as some suggest!
I'm also a great fan of "The Goons". Any more out there?

My heart lies heavy at the moment, and my eyes are full of tears...Our beloved Tydz, a great friend and all round lovely cat, died on 24th July 2001 whilst being operated on. The cancer of her intestinal lymph system was beyond control and she had only four weeks or less to live, so we allowed her to go on over to the other side with peace and dignity, feeling no pain. She will be buried in the garden in her favorite hunting spot and some daffodils planted on top to mark the area. The pain of losing her is almost too much to bear, but we know that as long as we remember her, she will never die to us.
