Fractions Entry

Hello, I've written an entry on fractions which contains a link to this entry. It's at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A520714

I just thought I'd let you know. It's a work in progress, so feel free to drop by and offer critique. When it gets good and polished, you may want to include a link to it here.

Hi there smiley - smiley

Its a good entry (I think, being a physicist rather than a mathematician...). Reading the 'cake' comment by HenryS leads me to recall for remainders I was taught to think about dividing a bunch of raw eggs instead of a cake...smiley - winkeye

Does it have a peer review thread?

Hi, thanks for your comments smiley - smiley

I need to add some illustrative examples involving cake or pizza (or eggs)... that's the next edit.

There's no Peer Review thread yet, but I could start one. I was hoping to add it to the UoL Maths project, but I haven't heard back from Joe (that's his name, right?) about that. I guess I'll put it on Peer Review after I add a little and tweak it a little... Do you know anything about the current state of the UoL Maths thing?

A physicist, huh? What kind?

I've no idea how its going... although I have the sneaking suspicion I ought to have written an entry for it...

I'm a second year physics with astronomy student... so not really a physicist yet... a potential physicist, perhaps would be more accurate smiley - winkeye
