Well, here is what the MSDS says about it (obviously by flame-testing it) you stand a chance of inhaling it but - realistically - how much would one inhale?

Can't really see why you would particularly want to do a flame test on vanadium salts. Vanadium is usually of interest due to its redox chemistry.
