i cannot find a supplier of the items neede to make the gareden.
please advise possible outlets. local chemists connot help.

You can get the various seed chemicals,copper sulphate etc in a chemistry set many are advertised on Ebay (eg Discovery World) for around £10.
Water Glass or Sodium Silicate is a bit trickier to get hold of these days but you can buy it online via the arts suppliers http://www.greatart.co.uk/WATER%20GLASS.htm
Apparently its also available from pottery suppliers too.

If there is nothing worthwhile on ebay (sometime the sets are old/used and not worth the risk) Argos sell the Discovery World chemistry set new for £17.99
