And in the Scott Addams Dilbert cartoons, PowerPoint gets a good solid kicking for being an incomprehensible waste of time and a magnet for use of management bollocks-speak... so it's brought down a space shuttle, as well?

I must go to my Dilbert collection and look for the cartoons where PP is derided...

I loved this Entry and I'm sure Scott Addams would too!

Good old Scott Adams smiley - laugh

I subtitled this entry 'Death By PowerPoint', but the Eds removed that bit as they thought it was libellous to Microsoft...

In the PR thread I posted a link to the Gettysburg Address on PowerPoint. That's worth checking out.

A day or two ago on Facebook (before I got barred, hopefully temporarily) I saw a picture of an overhead projector, described as if it was some sort of arcane museum exhibit for which archaeologists were struggling to find a function. This made me feel terribly old. I've used the damn things recently, for goodness sake!

And memories of working for a company who missed the point altogether, prepared the slides on Powerpoint, printed them on acetates, and then put the acetates under the OHP... wonderful...
