A Conversation for 'Frasier' - The TV Series
The song DOES mean something!

Sorry to get this in too late. I could have sworn that I mentioned this in Peer Review.
"Another oddity is the theme song, which comes at the end of the show. Sung by Kelsey Grammer, the song has nothing to do with the show and is about having an urge to eat tossed salads and scrambled eggs. The final line of the song is constantly changing from episode to episode."
This is almost completely wrong. Kelsey did indeed sing the song, but it makes perfect sense fromt the Frasier character's point of view. He took phone calls, often from loonies. These were his 'scrambled eggs' and 'tossed salads', referring to their mental states; as he sang, 'I hear you calling' and 'I've got you pegged'.
The final line did not change with every episode, although it may have changed from one season to the next. They certainly didn't record dozens of final lines. If you meant that it seemed to alternate between a very few selected lines, than I just got the wrong impression from the wording.
Otherwise, thanks for the entry!!!!

Just go to editorial feedback to get it amended.

From what I've heard at the end of episode Frasier says:
1: "Scrambled Eggs All over my face, waht is a boy to do?". Goodnight!
2: "Goodnight"
3: "Goodnight Seatle we love you"
4: "Thank you!"
5: "Frasier has left the building"
These are what I've heard. ANY MORE?

Also, yes those "tossed salads and scrambled eggs" are the listeners of his radio show and the other characters in his life. When He say's "their calling again" it means exactly that. I was puzzled about this at first, but I had a Eureka moment. Thank you
