Its kind of hard to spot because its always quite near the sun. I've never seen it myself. I guess the best times to look would be around sunset and dawn, but I'm afraid I'm no expert...

i have looked at sunset when
the planet should be there but
never seen it. i wonder if thr further north you live,
is it harder to see????
