A Conversation for Basic Methods of Mathematical Proof
proof by back from the future

During my schooltime I stumbled upon another type of proof, to be used by students. I happend to understand what the teacher was trying to explain again and again to other children, and beeing bored I started to look in the book to see what we would get next (teachers, miracles do happen).
Later the teacher asked to prove something, and I used the proof I had seen we would get later. Alas, it was not accepted, probably because the proof I gave was dependent on the proof I had to give.
This is probably a variation of the circular proof, and if used with care, can be the start of a completely impossible line of thought within the system.
