I've just got the book out. It was Chinky (step forward Ms Blyton and accept the crass writers award.) and Molly and Peter rescued him from a giant who made him(the giant) help with his sums or punished him if he didn't know the answer. And they say Harry Potter is bad for children.
I should add they're only close at hand because my niece likes to read them. Honest
