Don't forget the Guides!

thatnkls for mentionning that the Rainbows and Brownies sing some of these songs, but many of them I didn't learn until I was in Guides. I'm sure my fellow Guides and Scouts will agree with this.

That's interesting, because much of my thinking when this entry was going through PR was that the songs within it were generally ones which the 7-10 age group would know (or would have known). Some of them were ones which we sang on the coach on the way to Guide camp, though.

A3436021 is an entry I started on as a result of Emmily's work on this entry, about group songs with lots of verses - please drop by and add your quota! I've done nothing on it for a few months but do have some more to add in when I get time smiley - smiley

I just mentionned this as many of the songs I now teach my Brownies are ones that I and the other leaders learnt at Guides.

I suppose in many ways it might depend on what Rainbow/Brownie/Guide/Cub/Scout unit you went to, and how into campfire songs the leaders were. When I ws a Brownie, the leaders only taught us 2 or 3 songs, but in Guides I learnt so many more.
