I'm currently reading G.P.Taylor's fantasy novel "Wormwood" in which a comet crashes into 18th century London. Gripping and atmospheric fun - I'd recommend it.
(I should stress that it is fiction of course, though)

To be honest, I rarely read fiction at all - I normally read non-fiction. But this makes an intersting diversion...
