'As of yet, details on what exactly will be added to the game, and if anything will be changed, are nonexistent. Look for Final Fantasy IV on store shelves on December 12.'

Apparently the official (Japanese) website is coming soon.

More news and media. Apparently it's going to be retranslated; hopefully the translators will have enough sense to keep the spoony bard line.

LQ - Just plain old LQ

Well, it's now out in the UK, and I've got it, so now am starting to get more ideas of what I've already written about...

Thoroughly enjoying it so far, and haven't come across the bugs listed in the review. The balance is a little off-kilter, but the characters are enjoyable and the story's moving at a fair pace. The ATB system is also far better than the round based one used in I, II and other games such as Breath of Fire...although that's just my opinion.

Oh, and they've kept the "You Spoony Bard!" line.

I probably should get back to FF4 (PSX version) myself... I'm presently still extracting myself from my term-time chrysalis, and have a tonne of stuff to catch up on.

I've seen people say gameplay in this version seemed faster or even easier than before, but that could well just be a matter of subjective impressions...

I don't think this warrants a new thread...

'Square Enix is not going to let any of us rest until we've all played through Final Fantasy I & II at least a half dozen times each. The two games are now heading to the PSP as part of Final Fantasy's 20th Anniversary celebration.'
