Great entry, very complete. I feel there is just one other thing that could / should be mentioned about Anquetil, because there is an exceptional record that he holds still to this day. He is the only person in the history of the Tour to have worn the yellow jearsy for the whole tour, from the prologue into Paris. And this after having said he would do this before that tour started. (it however didn't make him very popular with the Tour managers since they felt it took all the excitement out of the event...)
