Bloody good entry, glad you added Ullrich to the great riders, I hope he climbs out of Armstrongs shadow soon
*Ahem*
You left Robbie McEwen out of great Sprinters

Ullrich is undoubtedly a great rider, but I think he will be eclipsed by a new generation next year.
Basso needs only work on his already efficient time trailing to put real pressure on the whole race, and if Vinokourov does sign for a well organized team (and the Disco Men have a real need for a leader, as Popyvich won't be ready for a year or two) he will have an outstanding chance next year.
I think Ullrich is destined to be the Eternal Second to Armstrong. And being second to the man who might just be the best that has ever been (certainly on the Tour), is no shaming thing.

I agree I think Ullrich will always be known as 'Armstrong's Bridesmaid'
I think Hincapie should be given a chance as Discovery's leader, seeing as he did all Armstrong's hard work
Basso is one of my tips for nextyear along with Ullrich, he's REALLY going to want one or two more wins before he retires, if he can keep fit during the off season, Popyvitch needs a couple of years work as does Cadel Evans and Alejandro Valverde. Vinokourov needs to get his temperament under control first
BTW (Prepare for blatent advertising) have you read this A4639205 a review of this year's TDF

I'm going for Ullrich next year, then again, I have for most of the last 9 years and only got it right once. If will mean that he was to remain fit and also stop crashing into things
Vinikorov will cause problems for everybody, but he really has got to learn not to attack most of the time. I was wondering if he had saddle sores and just couldn't sit down
I don't know how good a rider Basso really is, cause everybody in team CSC seems to punch well above their weight. Whatever though, I think it will be between him and Ullrich. However Basso will have to attack much more, most of this tour he was content to follow armstrongs attacks
Valverde may well feature if fit. As for US postal, perhaps Savadelli, the giro winner may be an interim leader ?
Was rather sad that Ekimov was injured cause this would have been his last tour and he's been a favorite of mine

I think Vinokourov was having a fit of the sulks with T-Mobile this year, he wasn't happy having to work for Ullrich he made mutterings about leaving so I think all the attacks and so on were his way of saying I don't need you anymore, look at me
Cadel Evans is someone to be watched in the future
