A Conversation for Leg Waxing

an easier way

i just discovered a faster, easier way to wax. well, sort of.
there is a product (i don't know if it's new or if i just haven't seen it before) that gets rid of quite a bit of the mess and fuss - sugar wax in a roll-top dispenser. just roll it on, slap on some cotton, and zip!
and i have to admit, i really do like that post-wax tingle.

Never having waxed, I have to ask. Is this post-wax tingling something akin to a masochistic pleasure? Or is it something else? There is a waxing infomercial on late-night television here, and everytime I pass it by I have to say, "Ouch!"

Think - that warm glow on your face when you've been out in the wind

I actually enjoy the sensation of tugging hair off my legs (as long as I get it right). I have never believed in paying good money to have someone else do for you things you can do yourself, so my waxing has always been DIY stuff!

The post-wax tingle is very satisfying - sign of a job well done!

the tingle is really pleasant, i don't think of it as a masochistic thing at all. it feels... alive.

Okay. I'm convinced. For some people, the post-wax tingle is simply great.

For me, well, I'll probably still stick to razors. Sorry. smiley - sadface
