Mars, it moves me

Today, august 27th, 2003.
For the first time in my life, I do see/recognize Planet Mars in our solar system, live.
That moves me, deeply.
Like meeting a member of my own family that I'd never met before.
It's like reaching out in the wide, open, dark vacuüm of Space(with the everlasting question; "is there anybody out there" and no answer)and getting a bit more familiar with that circus of stars and planets in the darkness.
It's like touching the untouchable.
It feels like magic, to me.
