Reverse Threads
Torqueometer Started conversation Apr 29, 2010
All sound advice if you don't forget that in some situations a reverse thread is used for the screwing. Often found on moving parts like wheel lugs, tie rods, and other drivetrain pieces, the reverse thread is recognisable if the exposed threads are carefully checked.
bottom line is; if yer taking a left side wheel off a willy's jeep, in that rare case its 'righty loosy, lefty tighty'.
