The best enviromentally friendly way of getting rid of catepillers and the dreaded white butterfly moths from your cabbages or other green vegetables try this - it works.
Very carefully pick some stinging nettles (a good carrier bag full) grind them down as small as you can, add some water leave over night and strain off the nettle water - put it into a spray bottle and spray your cabbages, brochilli, etc any vegetables the mites like - they hate it and you don't end up holey leaves.
No pesticides impregnating your crops either
