N64 - the best classic console

Good to see something written at (or near) the time.
Wanted to see if people agreed with my view that the N64 and its games were the best of any at the time and Indeed for the next 5 years.
I've askeed a few dozen game playing friends and all went for the N64 except for 2 who didnt know and 2 who went for sony.
Is this a normal proportion of people or are we just a hotspot of nitendo patriots. (i will admit that except for a ps2 all my consoles have been nitendo - n64 through to Wii
