I spent many of my young adult years being intimidated by bars. This may have something to do with growing up in Southern America, where bar going is sadly relegated to a seedy underside of the community.
Then Pastey (U45177) was kind enough to introduce me to bar etiquette and a number of wonderful British beers. Now I live in New York, and this entry has helped me understand the last confusion: how to understand the buying of rounds. Eureka!
