Congrats on the finished result - it looks really well, and I see it got today's "top billing"

After reading this and your Skylarking entry, I caught myself smiley - whistleing tunes from it... I started looking around for my old cassette. (I had originally bought the original US release version after seeing the Dear God video on MTV (it was a buzz clip) but exchanged it for the rerelease ... I wish I had just bought the new one as well). Anyway, I couldn't find it... it was in the player! smiley - doh

When I was in college I took a 'multimedia productions' class (I was a photography major)... It was slide shows. I did my big project as a music 'video' set to Dear God... It's still one of the best things I think I ever did.

A Super Furry Animal

A rather belated Thank you for posting on my entry! smiley - cheers

I'm trying to think of ways of expanding on this without just doing an album-by-album critique, which would be a bit dull...I don't suppose you heard any of their "radio tour"?

Unfortunately, no. If it was indeed "on the radio" I wouldn't. America is a vast radio wasteland. There are only three or four major companies that own at least 90% of the airwaves and they all sound the same. They are all driven by mass market appeal which appeals to no one that much. XTC never made it on the radio here in Houston more than briefly if at all. About the only place to hear good music like that is on a few listener supported stations and college stations.
