A Conversation for Second Cup Coffee
nice little commentary

Aside from what I brew at home, I've had alot of Second Cup coffee, over the years. There were a number of them, around the city - Edmonton, Alberta - before the 'invasion' of "Charbucks", & I prefer them, now that I've tried 'Sb's' As you might've guessed, I consider their-Sb's-beans over-roasted. Have to confess that a local roaster/retailer, Java Jive (which has 3 little cafes, on the University of Alberta campus, in addition to their roasting facility), has become competition for Second Cup, on a personal level. In fact, the coffee beans I have in my pantry, right now are Java Jives' Black Tiger variety (another favourite is their Cafe Negros - a dark roast Cuban bean). But, Second Cup's Paradiso Dark, is pretty much my 'regular', when I stop in (as I do quite frequently), & actually, I've never been totallly disappointed with any of the Second Cup coffees.
