When my sister taught herself to play the guitar, it was mostly Cat Stevens songs she accompanied. They were easy to understand and remember the lyrics for us non-native speakers.

I find 'Moonshadow' is one that keep going round my head

Matthew and Son is another easy one

I loved his old stuff as Cat Stevens, but his latest album as Yusef is pretty good too!

I dont do records lil and almost never buy them, but I did buy one of his. Its about the only music I like from the era. Brilliant entry very well done, yo u must do more

I also greatly respect Yusuf Islam. ( aka Cat Stevens )
He's not in an easy position. To practice his faith and 'answer' to the media and his 'fellow peers', must be a particularly difficult 'balancing act'. Not to mention having to eventually 'answer' to 'the Almighty'.

Warner, thank you for taking the time to read my Guide Entry. I admit it was started on a whim, due to the release of a cd of Cat Stevens Greatest Hits.

Of course, I am from the generation that knew of his conversion to Islam, but had never looked any further into it. However, I do remember him as being a very gentle man and I wanted to ensure that part of his character was clearly shown here

I think that Yusef Islam's album 'Another Cup' couldn't help but please the Almighty, if it doesn't then God's just got no taste and he deserves to be confined to the pages of some nutters book.
