A Conversation for The Bogeyman

The term 'bogey' in golf is also related to the bogeyman.
It attributes a perfect par score as being played by the bogeyman and anything over par is referred to as a bogey, double bogey, or triple bogey...
Also, the pilot thingie isn't quite right. A bogey is an unidentified aircraft. A bandit is an enemy aircraft.

I was told that the imaginary player in golf was Colonel Bogey, and that he always scored the perfect score.
How come he wasn't called Colonel Par? Or even Colonel Albatross?
I dunno.
