In many camp sites I've visited and some hotels, the shower head is in a fixed position on the wall. While I understand that this means there's no pipe to get damaged, to me (and to my hubby) this renders the shower less usable. There are certain parts of the body that *cannot* be rinsed properly if the shower head is fixed. (Think about it!) I wouldn't claim to be an alltamist, but fixed head showers really bug me!

I know what that's like.
I'm a tall fella', and in small showers, it can be very uncomfortable and bothersome to bend down... and more uncomfortable to fall.

yes! i'm tall too, and the fixed shower heads are always placed too low so that I have to bend over awkwardly (and sometimes painfully) so that i can wash my hair
