strange how this article paints this mountain
as a pussy cat - there are deaths on it every
year or so - summer and winter - I've known two
- its corrie is one of the most magnificent in
Britain covering an arc of about 3/4 miles whose
cliffs reach about 750 feet - a common way to
lose your life is in winter if you step onto the
gently sloping snow of a gully top that has glare
ice beneath its surface - its very quick as you
can be whisked away in an instant and into a free
fall of perhaps 450 feet - the mountain should
not be approached in winter conditions without an
ice axe and the experince of knowing how to use
it - if not properly accoutered you could freeze
to death in summer given bad weather - this news
just to cheer up would-be adventurers
