Do they have a different metric system in Scotland?
Where I come from, 2743m is not equal to 3000 feet.
Usually 2743m = 8999.3 feet. And 3000 feet = 914.4m.
Which might be correct?
Wrong!

Now I have made four posts just to get a little point across.
When will I learn to proofread before posting?

The Truth is Out There.
I believe one of your posts had the correct information.
Just figure a metre is pretty close to yard and there are
three feet in a yard gives you a general idea.
No wait!

Yep it is wrong - I didn't mention any specific height in the original, but it is 3786 feet which comes in at about 1279 meters Sorry about that....
