Hi,
I recently read "From Russia with love" while on holiday and was a bit surprised at the ending. The copy I read finished with Bond losing consciousness (dying ?) after being stabbed by the female smersh operative. Is this the correct ending or did my copy have pages missing?

Hi Sleepless. Yep, that's how it is meant to be - the novel's ending surprised me too. But in a way it makes it much better..... besides, the story picks up again in Dr. No (I think it's next chronologically) where Bond's recovery is mentioned.
I love the Bond books - they are so much better than the films (in my humble opinion
