I've always been a big fan of the Bond films and ahve recently begun reading the novels. I've so far read and very much enjoyed Moonraker and From Rusia with love. This is the first Guide Entry I've read as I'm new to H2G2 and I found it very interesting. I liked the section on why James Bond was so popular at the time of writing and also the part about the authors who are now carrying the torch of the Bond novels. I was aware they were still being writen but wasn't aware who was writting or whether they were at all faithfull to the idea of Bond... i shall give these a go when I've read the origionals. thanks for all the information.
